2009: As CEO at Diomede Corporation, Steve Iverson provides the technical vision and leadership to design customer solutions and create developer relationships. Before Diomede Storage, Mr. Iverson was CEO at Streamload, a San Diego-based company that enables consumers to backup and share files on the Internet. He founded the company and grew it to eight billion files under management, then successfully managed its sale to a private equity firm. Mr. Iverson received a BA Computer Science from Pomona College. Today he is an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at UCSD Connect, and an active mentor and advisory board member for several San Diego based-startups. Mr. Iverson has earned several honors and awards including 100 Private Companies of North America Award finalist by Red Herring in 2006, CES Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Award honoree by CEA 2006, Fast 50 award finalist, Fast Company Magazine in 2005, 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies, San Diego Business Journal in 2005, Best of Show award at DigitalLife 2005, PC Magazine and SYNC Magazine, Mobile Choice Award 2005, Mobile Magazine, named in T-Sector Magazine's “People to Watch”, 2004 San Diego's “40 under 40”, San Diego Metropolitan Magazine, 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and winner of the San Diego Venture Group Pitchfest in 2005.
